Resolved Question: Why is spam appearing at the bottom of my inbox?
In Yahoo, I’ve been getting a lot of spam. No big deal, just a quick delete, nothing to worry about.
Except now the spammers are doing something that’s really annoying me. I’m getting spam letters in my inbox that are dated dates in 2002, or 2004, or 1998. And where does the unread message go? Directly to the bottom of my inbox! And it shouldn’t bother me all that much, because it’s not a big deal, *but it does*!
So, two questions pop up.
First, how the hell are they doing this? Why would they even *want* to do this? Telling an email to send at a date in 1997 would require manipulating like, yahoo’s server itself, wouldn’t it? So what exactly are they doing?!
Secondly, how can I stop this? Can I block incoming letters dated farther back than a year ago? Can I stop letters from appearing after my read letters? I don’t want the letters that I save to be erased, and I have some from far back, but I want to take out the letters that are just spam with early years. What can I do?
Edit: Spam them back? Come on, I need a solution, not a revenge ploy.

Resolved Question: I think someone has hacked into my Outlook and is sending spam via my email address?!?
For months now I’ve been getting emails from System Administrator and Post Masters informing me my email has been delayed, failed or blocked by email filters? I’ve also had automated emails come back from addresses I have never heard of. The other day I even had a spam email sent to all the addresses in my contacts – including my own!!
Is it possible for hackers to get into Outlook accounts and send these junk emails – how do I stop it?
