Every third email is from Nigeria or some other foreign country and spinning on how I just won or will win something or more money if I just send them my personal information? How do I get these to stop other than sending them to SPAM? I don't know anyone in any other country, nor do I email anyone outside of the US! Where does this come from?
I have received several SPAM from someone using my email address as the sender (not!) to my emial account. How can I stop this? (I'm sure this is what the orignal person was asking, I'm having the same problem)
I have aol and lately I have been getting email from my own email address. Obviously they are spam/junk. How do I stop this? I am afraid that if I mark it as spam then I won't get anything that I actually cc myself on.
We all know that Y!A is one big popularity contest don't we? lol At the height of my popularity (this morning) I had 160 BA emails, this afternoon I had 64. Just checked now (3am - what do you mean sleep? lol) I have got just 3 and they're actual real time BA's. Not spam, not cloned emails. It was a pain in the a*se having to delete a few hundred unnecessary emails every day for the last few days. Now Yahoo's glitch appears to be sorted, I feel so unloved. lol If I email them do you think they will carry on spamming me with BA's? lmao Suggested category: Society & Culture > Cultures & Groups > Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered
Lately in my Yahoo inbox I have received mail where the sender shown is my yahoo email account ID. These messages are of the type I would never send to anyone, and I am afraid that others could get them and it would appear to them as if I sent them. As a test, I sent a message from my yahoo email to my yahoo email, and my name appears as the sender, (not the email ID). Can anyone tell me how I can stop receiving this mail that users my ID as the sender or how I can report it to Yahoo so they can prevent it?
I keep getting an email saying you have the best answer. 500 times already!!!! I don't want to mark it as spam since I like the updates. But, it won't stop.
i am getting constant amounts of spam and junk email sent to my hotmail account, is there any way i can stop it?
ok I've been receiving the same email since 2 days, It's says that my answer was picked as best, but from 2 days I have received over 100 of the same email about the same question and every time I check my inbox I find at least 18 of this e-mail, I really get sick of it, It is not stopping, is it something wrong with Y!A ??or are they trying to piss me off?? p.s.once there were 50 of the same e-mail. oh yes and now I've put the last one as a spam, I'm really sick of it, I can't handle one more of these emails help plz!
Recently I had an answer of mine chosen as the best answer by another user and was notified via email over 30 times over and over again. You can see on the timestamps where each message was sent within five minutes of the next...and it's still doing it! I've since received two other batches of 30-40 emails all notifying me of my answer being chosen as the best for that one particular answers. In total, it's almost 100 emails in two days. How do I get it to stop? I'm tired of sifting through countless emails to get to the relevant ones, but don't want to list it as spam and have all yahoo answer emails blocked. I've tried contanting Yahoo about this, but apparently they don't answer questions unless you're a small business owner. Any help (beyond the painfully obvious like "why don't you change accounts") appreciated. I really don't want to lose this account b/c I've had it for almost 8+ years and I have a lot invested in it: subscriptions, contacts, etc...
