Voting Question: How can I stop my sent mail from arriving into peoples junk folders?
I run a business, we send out no spam or mailshots, just regular personal email to clients.
The past 2 weeks have seen our sent mail end up in the recipients junk folder. I have called our email provider and they have said that they can’t do anything.
We have asked our regular clients to mark our address as ‘safe’. However, new people send us questions from our website and when we answer them they don’t receive the mail as it goes to their junk folder (and we can’t email them to tell them to mark us as safe because it too ends up as spam!).
Is there any way to stop this?

Resolved Question: How do I stop them, and who do I complain to to prevent them from doing it to anyone else?
About two years ago, I foolishly created a profile and resume on ExploreTalent.com thinking they could help me find my way to a successful acting career. After rethinking my position on the site, I realized it was a mistake. I emailed their customer service/ accounts specialists asking them to remove all information of me from their website and their copies of my information. Then I also asked them to remove me from their e-mail list. A couple months later, I received another e-mail. I wrote the same people again asking them why I had received the mail, they told me it takes about a month or so, I replied back that it had been four months. I received no reply and thought the mistake had been taken care of. I received another e-mail from them again, and I wrote back telling them to stop e-mailing me, with no replies. I have done the whole ‘received this email by mistake’ and ‘want to be removed from our mailing list’ option twice now in the e-mails and still receive e-mails from them, what should I do? I put the e-mails in the spam folder but after a month it’s deleted and I get e-mail from them again. This must be illegal somehow. Can anyone help me please?
Thank you for your help thus far. Unfortunately the e-mails they’ve sent have only one option, for Unsubscribing from the mailing list, and that’s to first log onto you’re account and check the removal option. That’s why this has gone on for so long, with it simply being an e-mail war for two years. Fortunately yet in this case unfortunately I no longer have an account with them. I’ve e-mailed them numerous times to stop sending me e-mails. I will try the better business bureau threat, then I’ll threaten them with possible legal action.

They use Western Union but you are not able to email them and even mail filters don’t stop them. What is the course of action we should take and how can we learn about them?
