Open Question: Ungodly amounts of spam from craigslist, how to make it stop?
I have three horses for sale on Craigslist.com, that I posted yesterday. I log onto my email today, and I had 14 spam emails. Some of them were about my craigslist ad, but they somehow emailed me directly instead of through craigslist. How in the world did they get my email address??? I didn’t put it in the ad, and craigslist has the link to my email “anonymized”. So how???
And how do I get them to stop spamming me? there is so much spam !!!

Resolved Question: I received an email from a friend for the first time and it went straight into the Spam box.?
I think the Spam box gets emptied automatically after about a month. The problem is that sometimes I do not have access to internet for more than a month and i loose all my friends emails. How can I stop my friends emails go straight into spam box instead of inbox?

Resolved Question: How do I stop getting spams from Apple Associates Marketing affiliates?!?
I get a ton of spam emails every day, and at the bottom of each one it says:
“The attached promotional material was sent to you by Apple Associates Marketing.
As a member of our service we strive to provide you with only relevant and timely information, and sincerely thank you for reading ourcorrespondences.
This material is in no way an endorsement or guarantee of any kind by Apple Associates of the product or service offered.
To contact us directly, please mail Apple Associates, P O box 17598 #16340 , Baltimore, Maryland 21297-1598 and a customer service representative will assist you with your concerns.
To unsubscribe from future special offers and promotions, click here.”
However, when you click to unsubscribe, it only unsubscribes you for that particular business that is using them to spam to your account. I want to block Apple Associates altogether!
Do I really have to contact them through mail? Isn’t it against the law to not respect the wish to unsubscribe to promotions? Is this just a loophole for them to get out of it?

Voting Question: Brilliant, beautiful Brits, Nigerians, Humans of the World – internet, *sigh* spam ? help please?

If I had all the money this guy (?bloke? ?wanker? ?poofda?) and all the others say I’m entitled to, I’d be richer than **!Curtsie! don’t touch!** the Queen (and all her family together). Is there a specific agency to report these type of spams to (had more than my last nerve’s worth of E-buggar-nuff-offfff.) *ahem, regaining composure*.
Prithee please (sorry don’t know Nigerian or UniHumanWorld colloquialisms that would apply) what can one skinny girl do to stop these stEUpid spams? Are the governments aware? What category do I put this in? SO many questions. Got Answers?
Compie – I’m pretty good at blanket deletes.
Col – good suggestion, but what are our respective regulatory spam police report people being paid for and how to contact them? Imagine the Few who are prey to this dastardly ploy…
