I've been sending emails to friends or answering classifieds and have discovered that my emails go directly to spam even though it isn't. How do I stop this?
Hey, I gotz TONS of spam on my AIM email, how do I get rid of it? Like, can I block the emails?
Thanks...
I have just noticed that my Yahoo email account is sending an email to everyone in my contact list once every few days. It is telling people to visit dopcity.com. Can anyone tell me if this is a virus or if its just a spam email, and if its possible to stop it? Thank you.
i am 30 years old and am afraid to give my email address out to the older generation these days (people my parents' age, for example). it almost never fails that they start immediately flooding my inbox with the worst jokes and cutesy animal pics. why the @!#$ do they do this? why do they automatically add my name to their email lists without asking me first?
i have one going theory on why they do this and it seems to point to their relative "newness" to the internet. since all they've ever really had as far as technological advances go is tv and radio, it makes sense to draw the conclusion that they think it's SO COOL to be able to send emails and that they find it extraordinarily fascinating to be able to forward bad obama jokes and pics of kittens splashing about in someone's apple pie.
so how do you politely tell these fogeys to stop spamming your inbox? yes, i know there are people my age and younger who get sucked into the email forwarding gig, but their numbers are so few in comparison.
I am getting emails daily that indicate I requested to join adult webcam groups. I did not request any of these and they instruct me to ignore if I didn't request it. But there is no option for getting off the lists. And I have kids that I don't want to accidentallyly open these. Everything I read doesn't help me at all. Anyone have a solution? The following is a sample of the many emails that don't go in the spam folder due to the Yahoo Groups URL.

I received an email in my spam folder that was from my email address but I did not send it to myself. As far as I know no one else has my password. What the heck is going on? How do I stop it? How do I find out who is doing this with my email address?
Every day I recieve email to confirm yahoo groups; tried to mark as spam;
looked for withdrawl marker......no luck How can I remove my name from tha list?
All emails sent to my lists go to the recipients email accounts as spam, which means a lot of my posts are missed. This only started happening when yahoo was upgraded a few months back. My email account is listed in my contacts and that hasn't made a difference.
Is it possible to fix this problem without having to delete my email address?
