Open Question: Is my daughter’s school acting legally?
My daughter’s school uses an automated software that sends out a text message and an email when a child is absent from school. I have asked them on several occasions now to stop sending text messages and to just use email or get a real person to phone me. Considering that I have said that I do not want to receive these texts and they keep sending them, is this actually spam? Are they even legally allowed to carry on doing this?
I’m not being fussy, I have an ongoing health condition (which the school are aware of) and it’s not helping much. I’m in England, by the way, so English law only please.

Resolved Question: how do i stop aol instant messenger texts to my phone?
back in the day i had my old old screen name on the mobile im, i never used it, the email and screen name stopped working so i forgot about it until now where i keep getting these stupid im’s from this girl and its all spam i get like 23 messages an hour and its really annoying. i tried stopping it on aol.com with the mobile thing but it didnt work, any suggestions?
