Stop Spam Tips

My family is receiving a bunch of spam mails and it shows that it comes from my email account, but I did not send them. How can I stop this and how did this happen? Do I need to cancel my e-mail account and start a new e-mail account?

On the website www.mangafox.com I just got a PM from someone I've never interacted with and has, as far as I see, not done anything on the site, saying: "Stop Spam! I only know the general about computers so this really doesn't make any sense to me- and I only just bought this laptop I'm using, and as far as I know the security program I'm using is working- this is really confusing and I'm getting the feeling this is some sorta scam...help, please?

Everytime I put something for sell on Craigslist.org, I get an email saying, "Item still for sell?" If I respond "yes," I get these obvious fraudsters requesting my personal info. They make it seem like they are REALLY interested on the item for sell by saying, "Sounds good, i would like to purchase it from you as soon as possible. (I am intrested and ready to buy it now) The easiest way for me to pay is probablyVia Bank Certified Cashier Check from my bank ." How can I stop these???????

everyone in my address book received an email from me without a message - just a link that carried a warning (malware) when they tried to open it. i have a mac and an antivirus program so i hope this isn't a virus. it's happened twice in 2 weeks! what can i do to stop this?

For the past month or so, I am getting spam in my Inbox folder and the address is the same except for the 2nd part. Here is an example of the email address that keeps spamming me. MAILER-DAEMON@n16.bullet.mail.mud.yahoo.com. The part that differs are the n16. Each email has a different n#. How do I make it stop? I don't send emails I hardly ever send emails. It is very rare that I do send emails.

Big clumps of emails jam my computer. This company is hired to send out this junk. How do I contact them to get them to stop. Companies like this are ruining the entire internet system.

im getting a ton of Spam sent to my email, how can i stop this frm happening?

I get a lot of spam which I am trying to stop using Yahoo! Mail Options. However, there is one company trying to sell me Viagra (I'm female!) and they appear to have misappropriated my own email account so that some of their emails appear to be coming from myself. Other than closing down this email account, does any one know of a way to stop this?
