Stop Spam Tips

i clicked an ad and now i have 30 emails a day i need to stop them completely, not delay them or anything like that

[not on yahoo, hotmail] yeah my hotmail address the one I use for msn and everything except this site, I am now getting up to 20 junk emails[saying I won stuff, asking about coupons, taxes, ETC asking me to get a job and stuff and I'm 14 so obviously none of it is true, plus I'm not naive] a day and I NEVER EVER used to get ANY junk mail, and I haven't signed up for anything or given my email address out, I have been getting a lot of chain letters lately around when I started getting the Junk mail a few days ago could people have forwarded a chain letter with my address and somehow someone who sends junk/spam mail gotten my email address? Or is that impossible.. well how could this have happened? It Sounds stupid, but I loved my nice, clean, junk free email I used to make fun of my mom for having tons of junk mail all the time. The junk mail usually goes into the junk folder[and doesn't show up unless I click mark this as safe] but it's still annoying! can I somehow block it or get people to stop sending it to me? oh, I don't send chain letters btw I delete them

A spam email was sent using my email address to some (but not all) of my contacts, I got an out of office reply from one so it looks like it came from my account. Does this mean my account has been hacked? If so what do I do now and how can I stop it happening again?

I scrolled all the way through the spam messages and there was no way to check all and delete all. It just stopped with the last message. I HATE THIS FORMAT. Why did you have to change it?

Please help. I cannot find an answer. When I post a message on Yahoo message board my email address shows as my user I.D. Even when I change to an alternate user I.D. fellow board members know it's me and post my email address in responses which creates spam. This is identity theft!! How can I stop my email address to be used as my I.D?? and how can others post my email address even when I change to an alternate I.D.????

I use the yahoo webmail. I also have other email addresses. My yahoo webmail seems to be sending out spam. I get underliverable messages for strange addresses and for messages I did not send. How can I stop this?

So, I turn the computer on and i log in (Like into my user account) and some security things pop up on my desktop. Its a Vista Internet Security- Unregistered Version. It says "Current PC state: INFECTED!" I have 21 "infections". Some include EA GAMES, Dell Support Center, Creative Live Cam, and Cyber Link Power DVD DX. The Malware titles say: P2P-Worm.Win32.Franvir Lemena.3544 Kot.b EICAR-Test-File Virus.Boot-DOS.V.1526 Macro.Viso.Radiant Virus.BAT.8Fish Trojan-Clicker.Win32.small.k Trojan-Spy.HTML.Bankfraud And many more! Oh, and now theres another pop-up that says: Critical System Alert! Unknown software is trying to take control over your system! Details: Attack from: 59.64.27.21 port: 9536 Attacked port: 1 Threat: Email-Worm.JS.Gigger Do you want to block this attack? [Yes] [No] I just clicked no. Hey, look. Another pop-up. ALERT! Your system becomes a target for spam and bulky, intruding ads Browser crashes frequently and web acess speed decreases Bank details and credit card information gets dislosed. You get the idea. How do i stop this gayness? Thanks

Many spam emails are being sent to my email. Why?And how can i stop it?

Here's what happened. I have a hotmail account that I used for over 7 years and I had recieved very little to NO spam mail. Two weeks ago, one of my friend's email got hacked and some spammer got his contact list and spammed everyone on there. Now I get over 10-28 spam mails a day and I just cannot find a way to get around this, even after setting up "standard" junk mail filter. Now, I now some of you might suggest me to make a new email but I cannot switch to another email. My hotmail email is my primary email that I've used for over 7 years for school, work, etc. and I receive various emails from many different clients for my work. It would be very difficult to adjust to a new email.

from a a group a accidently joined, they keep coming non-stop in huge numbers, at the end of the week i have at least 256 emails and like 100 in the spam box. how i do i leave the group to make it stop?
