I keep receiving junk emails from people I don’t know and now they are using my email address to forward their spam to all my contacts. How do I stop them from doing this and also from accessing my address book?

Resolved Question: I’m getting spam emails sent from my yahoo account to everyone in my contacts. How can I stop this?
My contacts are recieving emails with attachments, advertising Viagra (this one sent to my husband!), Canadian Healthcare etc. It seems to happen once a week now. I really don’t want to change my email account unless absolutely neccessary, so can anyone give me some advice on how to stop this? I’d really appreciate any help you can give.
