I lost touch with an internet friend, but then we started taking again, but she accused me of ‘changing.’ I used to attack anyone that attacked me, rather it be friends or a forum, and if they were rude to me, I was rude back. But since then, I just ignore people cause drama is crazy, as are people who can stay anonymous lol. So I decided just to ignore people instead of getting into it with them, and so she has accused me of people some kind of ‘sell out’… yeah.. lol…Anyway, she talks to me from time to time but talks behind my back too. I basically blocked her and didn’t give her my new email but now she keeps sending me request on Facebook. I have ignored the request but she keeps re-sending. If I click report spam, will it stop her from sending or at least stop me from getting them? My friend suggested just not answered it, so she cannot send another..
I DID press the I do not know this person, but she can still send them.

Your Question

I am an old man, 81 years old and not too well.

I use my computer, mainly to contact my friends and write the occasional letter.

However. starting last Friday (May 28) I have been getting large numbers of spam messages with my email.

These messages are siphoned off into the Internet Explorer SPAM BOX and I can delete them. But, they are becoming a nuisance and I just hope that someone can tell me if there is some way I can reduce the number of SPAM messages I am receiving or some way to stop them altogether.

I have a very limited knowledge of the technical capabilities of my computer, so please come back with responces that will be easy for me to understand.

My Yahoo (Classic) email addy has been linked to my website for more than a year. Recently I stopped getting messages and discovered that a second email addy that is also listed is getting messages but my Yahoo account is not. They are also not going into the spam folder, so where are they?
