Resolved Question: How do I get The Simon Weisenthal Centre to stop sending me spam?
I’ve unsubscribed from their email lists which I never signed onto in the first place as far as I know. I think their work is pointless (I think their energies would be far better spent fixing current problems in the world than chasing people who are dead or dying who can’t be prosecuted because the witnesses and evidence are too old to be of any use anyway) and they keep sending me stuff like this
http://www.wiesenthal.com/site/pp.asp?c=lsKWLbPJLnF&b=5438925
Is this really from the SWC or is it someone masquerading as them trying to discredit them?
lucee, I’m afraid I have already done what you suggested ages ago. It makes no difference. I never expected when I had a look at their web site they would end up trying to sell me stuff. I get this http://www.wiesenthal.com/site/pp.asp?c=lsKWLbPJLnF&b=5438925 and this and https://www.kintera.org/site/apps/ka/mt/chooseCard.asp?c=lsKWLbPJLnF&b=5438905&en=ahKRJYOwEdLMIROwGaJQKYMvHfLVK9OQLkLTK3OHKnLSLXMEInI0IgL and this http://www.wiesenthal.com/site/pp.asp?c=lsKWLbPJLnF&b=5438925 so lucee, You were wrong. It IS the Simon Weisenthal Centre who are sending me these spams.

Voting Question: Why can’t I block an email address in hotmail ? Please help me?
I keep getting spam sent to me via an old friend’s email address. It says it’s from him but its just a link. I know he’s not sending them directly.
I have added this person’s email address to my ‘blocked senders’ list. And redid this to make sure.
But I am still getting these messages in my inbox.
I have started marking them as Junk but they still keep coming to my Inbox.
I can’t understand how I can’t block them but why can’t I seem to do anything to stop these spam email.
His address is a hotmail.com account also.
Any ideas on what I can do about this please?

Open Question: Need Opinions on the Yahoo Plus email , and Address Guard features?
Hi,
I’m looking into mobileme and Yahoo mail plus.
a – I need a secure email service, with fast support in case the account ever gets compromised.
b – Less spam and phishing.
c – be able to create aliases/ disposable email addresses.
I was wondering if it also uses HTTPS:? How do the aliases you create look like? Are they self generated or you can create from scratch? Can they be totally different from your main email address, so spammers won’t figure it out?
How do you like the PLus service when it comes to stopping spam, account security, privacy , etc.?

Resolved Question: How do I stop getting sent spam on hotmail?
Ok so I get a ridiculous amount of spam, sent from the same email addresses, like every 10 minutes. Its beyond a joke. 7 emails from the same spammers in half an hour. Blocking the addresses doesnt even work. What can I do to stop this?

Voting Question: Spam/junk mail being sent to me over and over every few mins.. WTF!?
Since a few days ago I’ve been getting emails from different websites. But when I get them they then send it to me again, sometimes it’s 2mins later, sometimes it’s 10mins later! At the moment I’m recieving emails from something called AffinityNews..? So far I have five, but there will be more!
My brother said I might have a virus, and he deleted temporary files in case I had bad cookies. But it did nothing! I’ve done virus scans too (using Microsoft Secrity Essentials) and it’s saying there is no virus detected.
Does anyone know what’s causing this or what can stop it?
I’m pretty sure it’s not a spam storm, they tend to be 1000 all at once and crash your computer
