Someone that I know is having a hard time with their Yahoo email sending a Viagra spam to all of her contacts without her knowledge or permission. It all started when she received one from someone that she knows. I’ve gotten several of the emails from her but have not opened them, because I’m sure it’s a virus. She changed her password, but it didn’t stop, until I changed her password for her from an uninfected computer. Now she has received an email from “upgradeteam@yahoo.com” saying that her account will be terminated unless she verifies her username and password. I’m sure that it’s phony and I told her not to respond. Has anybody heard of this, and do you know how to fix it? She actually is using a different computer right now, because I told her to stay off of the infected one. Thanks for any help you can give.
