Resolved Question: how do i stop getting emails to join yahoo groups. have never requested to join them in the first place?

i keep getting requests to join yhaoo groups, and i have never requested to join them in the first place. have tried marking them as spam,blocking ,but doesnt deem to any good.have contacted yahoo and they are no help
